Town Board Meeting — Minutes

Town of Drammen Board Meeting Minutes June 8th, 2026 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Jeff Larson at 7:00 p.m. with all board members present except Mike Isaacson. Town residents Jim Williams and Greg Lampman were also in attendance. May Meeting Minutes Motion to approve the May 11th meeting minutes was made by Joe Becker and seconded by Jeff Larson. Motion carried. Treasurer's Report. Motion to approve the May Treasurer’s Report was made by Joe Becker and seconded by Jeff Larson. Motion carried. Monthly Bills The monthly bills were reviewed. Joe Becker made a motion to approve the monthly bills, which was seconded by Jeff Larson. Motion carried. Monthly Budget Review The board conducted a review of the current budget with no issues. Chairman, Supervisor, Clerk Updates The Chairman discussed the upcoming Drammen Family Day picnic and whether to invite former board members. The board agreed that the Town Chairman would contact former board members and invite them to the picnic. The Chairman discussed the poor condition of the gravel on Locust Road and the plan to have the town maintenance worker add dirt to reinforce it, followed by Jerry Larson adding crushed rock as a top layer. The Chairman discussed taking possession of the new plow truck and whether Ascension Trucking would inspect and clean it before delivery. The Clerk noted that the truck was expected to arrive mid-month and that he would follow up with the seller regarding the pre-purchase inspections. The Clerk discussed a couple of email information inquiries the town received, no action required. Public Input Donna Lampman expressed concern that the town’s historical records stored in the town hall office are deteriorating. It was decided that she would contact UW-Eau Claire, the regional archive and preservation entity, to investigate preservation options. Greg Lampman reported that the new recycling sign had been installed and was receiving positive feedback from town residents. Motion to adjourn at 7:59 p.m. was made by Joe Becker and seconded by Jeff Larson. Motion carried.
