Town Board Meeting — Minutes

Town of Drammen Town Meeting Minutes November 10th, 2025 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Jeff Larson at 7:45 p.m. with all board members present. Town residents Jim Williams, Elizabeth Lutes, Greg Lampman and Bonnie Isaacson, were also present. October Meeting Minutes Motion to approve October 13th Meeting Minutes was made by Mike Isaacson and seconded by Joe Becker. Motion carried. Treasurer's Report The Treasurer addressed concerns regarding the deteriorating condition of the Town Assessment Rolls stored at the town hall, noting the presence of mold and ongoing degradation. The Board tabled discussion until the next meeting. Motion to approve the September Treasurer’s Report made by Joe Becker seconded by Mike Isaacson. Motion carried. Monthly Bills Motion to approve the October bills made by Mike Isaacson and seconded by Joe Becker. Motion carried. Monthly Budget Review The monthly budget was reviewed. The Town Clerk requested to purchase the three new election tables as demonstrated by an example borrowed from the Town of Pleasant Valley. Motion to approve the purchase was made by Joe Becker seconded by Mike Isaacson. Motion carried. Ambulance Contract Discussion on the current and future of the Ambulance Contracts were discussed during the Special Electors Meeting, no further discussion during the Town Board Meeting. Treasurers Bond The Town Clerk submitted Resolution 25-7, Treasurers Bond, Substitute For, for the board's review and approval. This resolution supersedes the former Town Ordinance regarding the required Treasurers Bond to Eau Claire County for tax purposes. A motion to approve was made by Mike Isaacson and seconded by Joe Becker. The motion was approved. Tax Insert/Newsletter Review The proposed Tax Insert and Town Newsletter were presented for review, after minimal discussion both were approved for inclusion with the Town Property Tax bills to be sent out next month. Plow Truck Replacement The Town Clerk presented various options for replacing the town’s aging plow truck, including acquiring either a new vehicle or a used truck currently operated by the Town of Washington. After thorough discussion, the Board determined that purchasing a used truck would be more financially prudent. The Town Clerk was directed to contact the Town of Washington to arrange an inspection of the used truck by the Board prior to making a final purchase decision.
