Town Board — Minutes

Town of Drammen Meeting Minutes Monday, December 9, 2024 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Ed Risler with all board members present. Town residents in attendance were, Nicholas Lutes and Timothy Hoverson were in attendance. Motion to approve the November 2024 minutes made by Joe Becker and seconded by Jeff Larson. Motion carried. Motion to approve the November treasurer’s report made by Joe Becker and seconded by Jeff larson. Motion carried. Motion to approve the December 2024 bills with the following additions (Tim Hoverson 7.37, City of Mondovi 610.00, Eau Claire Cty Clerk 251.73, and Eau Claire Treasurer 10.00) made by Jeff Larson and seconded by Joe Becker. Motion carried. Chairman Risler gave an update on the road leveler which he picked up. Joe Becker updated board on the survellince equipment. EMS update was given by Chairman Risler. It died in committee. Information was given about a potential bike event in Eau Claire county next summer. No action on TAC dues was taken. Motion to accept the Clerk’s resignation effective December 31, 2024 made by Jeff Larson and seconded by Joe Becker. Motion carried. Motion to name Nicholas Lutes clerk replacement until April 2024 election and annual meeting made by Joe Becker and seconded by Jeff Larson. Motion carried. Clarification on Holiday pay was discussed. There are six paid holidays being Thanksgiving, Christmas, New’s Year, Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day. Tim Hoverson will be able to have them after official date of hire which is October 1, 2024. Motion to approve a check for $125.00 to Mark Zuber for Holiday bonuses. Motion to set the caucus for April elections for Monday, January 13, 2025 at 7:00 pm made by Jeff Larson and seconded by Joe Becker. Motion carried.
