Town Board — Minutes

Town of Drammen Meeting Minutes Monday, November 11, 2024 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Ed Risler with all board members present. Town residents in attendance were Greg Lampman, Holter, Cindy and Gerald Galloway, Nicholas Lutes, Elizabeth Lutes, Dana Decambiliza and Mike and Bonnie Isaacson were in attendance. Motion to approve the October 2024 minutes made by Joe Becker and seconded by Jeff Larson. Motion carried. Motion to approve the October treasurer’s report made by Jeff Larson and seconded by Joe Becker. Motion carried. Motion to approve the November 2024 bills made by Jeff Larson and seconded by Joe Becker. Motion carried. Chairman Risler updated the board on road projects on Hemlock Rd. Crack sealing, shoulder work and paving have been completed. Chairman Risler updated the board on the purchase of the 10 ft. leveler. Zuber updated the board on the EMS proposal of the county to take over the cost of providing the EMS services required by state statute. Three questions will be forwarded to Tyler Esh. They are 1. Are all Capital Purchases covered by the agreement (current and future)? 2. Are all loans covering future and present loans associated with EMS services covered? 3. If a town does not take the county coverage would residents still be taxed? Tax documents were discussed. The resident letter was distributed and discussed. Motion to approve the Tax ordinance for the Treasurer for 2024-2025 made by Joe Becker and seconded by Jeff Larson. Motion carried. Motion to approve the request of Tim Hoverson to purchase a new drill and impact wrench made by Joe Becker and seconded by Jeff Larson. Motion carried. Motion to approve six holidays for pay (Christmas, New’s Year Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day and Thanksgiving) for full time employees made by Joe Becker and seconded by Jeff Larson.
