Town Board — Minutes

Town of Drammen Meeting Minutes March 11, 2024 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Ed Risler with all board members present. Town residents Jim Williams, and Greg Lampman were in attendance. Steve Berger representing Rural Insurance and Allen Myren, County Supervisor were also in attendance. Motion to approve the February minutes made by Joe Becker and seconded by Jeff Larson. Motion carried. Motion to approve the February treasurer’s report made by Jeff Larson and seconded by Joe Becker. Motion carried. Motion to approve the March 2024 bills made by Joe Becker and seconded by Jeff Larson. Motion carried. Steven Berger, Rural Insurance Company Agent went through the insurance package with the Board. Motion to approve the package made by Jeff Larson and seconded by Joe Becker. Motion carried. Road bids for the first half mile of Hemlock Rd east of Hwy 37 were opened. Motion to approve the bid from Monarch for $117,917.12 made by Joe Becker and seconded by Jeff Larson. Motion carried. Update given on culvert inventory was given. The Town will contract with Delmore Consulting. Board of review training will be attended by Ed Risler and Jeff Larson. Ernie Werlein will coordinate with Affordable Roadside Cutting for mowing brush along roadsides. Contract for at least 40 hours with another 20 possible. Motion to approve the public records policy for the Town made by Ed Risler and seconded by Jeff Larson. Motion carried. Chairman Risler adjourned the meeting. Submitted Mark Zuber Clerk
