Town of Drammen Meeting Minutes December 11, 2023 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Ed Risler with all board members present except Mark Zuber. Town residents Jim Williams, Greg Lampman and Steven Berger representing Rural Insurance were in attendance. Motion to approve the November minutes made by Joe Becker and seconded by Jeff Larson. Motion carried. Motion to approve the November treasurer’s report made by Jeff Larson and seconded by Joe Becker. Motion carried. Motion to approve the December 2023 bills made by Jeff Larson and seconded by Joe Becker. Motion carried. Motion to approve the election workers for the 2024-25 election cycle made by Joe Becker and seconded by Jeff Larson. Motion carried. Chairman Risler updated the board on the dogs running at large in Drammen. A fine of $200.00 was assigned to the dog’s owner. Motion to approve gift cards for Road maintenance (50.00) and recycling attendants (25.00) made by Joe Becker and seconded by Jeff Larson. Motion carried. Chairman Risler updated the board on roads. Further discussion will take place at the January meeting. Chairman Risler also updated the board on the closure of Hwy 93 next summer with Hwy 37 being the alternate route. Discussion of bills for Fire department charges took place. A landing prep by the fire department is to be considered as part of the coverage determined by the Town’s ordinance.
