Annual Meeting — Minutes

Town of Drammen Annual Meeting Minutes April 18, 2023 The 150th meeting of the was called to order by Chairman Ed Risler with all board members present. Town resident Jim Williams, Dana Decambiliza and Cameron Mcgee were also in attendance. Motion to approve the 149th Annual meeting minutes made by Joe Becker and seconded by Jeff Larson. Motion carried. Election update. Elected for new terms: Town Chairman – Ed Risler Supervisor 1 - Jeff Larson Supervisor 2 - Joe Becker Treasurer - Donna Lampman Clerk - Mark Zuber The Annual Report was distributed and discussed. Two small corrections were made. Motion by Jeff Larson and seconded by Joe Becker to approve the Annual Report as printed with the two corrections. (Appliance removal is banned in Eau Claire County and a year change from 2022 to 2023) Road construction was discussed. The cost of a mile of road is nearly $350,000.00. The Town has filled out grants for road construction but the cost was nearly $700,000 for a stretch of 1.5 miles. How to fund the roads is an important topic. Dog Licenses were discussed. Motion by Joe Becker and seconded by Jeff Larson to raise the dog licenses as follows: spade or neutered – 6.00 to 9.00, un spayed or un neutered – 17.00 to 20.00 and kennel – 35.00 to 38.00. Motion carried. Sanding of private yards was discussed. Snowplowing fees will remain the same. Board of Review dates were announced as follows: Open Book Tuesday, May 9,2023 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm Board of Review, Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Motion to set the 151st Annual meeting date for Tuesday, April 16, 2024 made by Dana Decambiliza and seconded by Bonnie Isaacson.
