Town Committee — Minutes

TOWN OF YORK, DANE COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE COMMITTEE MINUTES OF March 2nd, 2026 The Comprehensive Plan Update Committee met on March 2nd, 2026 at the York Town Hall. Chairman Jamie Derr called the meeting to order at 6 pm. The meeting had been noticed as required. Approval of the agenda on a motion by Linda Henning with a second from Brian Henning with all present in favor. Chairman Jamie Derr asked for approval of the minutes of the February 2nd, 2026 meeting. Motion by Chris Vieau with a second from Steve Wolfe to approve of the minutes of the February 2nd meeting. All present in favor. Ben Kollenbroich from Dane County Planning and Zoning was present with information that he had concerning the format of the Updated Plan in addition to the Public Participation Plan. Ben stated that Dane County would take care of the printing and mailing of the post cards and possibly the costs. He did not have confirmation on Dane County incurring the costs as yet. Motion by Chris Vieau with a second from Keith Reopelle to approve recommending to the York Town Board the Committee’s approval of the Public Participation Plan. Motion approved with all present in favor. Motion by Keith Reopelle with a second from Mike Hughes to approve of the survey as presented by Ben Kollenbroich. Survey approved with all present in favor. It was suggested to have copies of the survey available at the upcoming election. There were no more additional Town residents at the Committee meeting to be added to the group. There was no more business on the agenda, so on a motion by Steve Wolfe with a second from Mike Hughes the meeting was adjourned. Meeting adjourned at 7:05pm. The next meeting will be on Wednesday, April 8th due to the election on April 7th.
