Town Committee — Minutes

TOWN OF YORK, DANE COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE COMMITTEE MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 2nd, 2026 The Comprehensive Plan Update Committee met on February 2nd, 2026 at the York Town Hall. The meeting had been noticed as required. Chairman Jamie Derr asked for approval of the minutes of the January 5, 2026 meeting. Motion by Steve Wolfe with a second from Dave Zander to approve of the minutes of the February 2nd meeting. All present in favor. Chairman Derr discussed the Public Participation Plan that would have to go to the Town Board for approval. It was suggested that accessary buildings (ADU) should be addressed in the survey. Questions from committee members were discussed. The transfer of rights regarding buildings/parcel splits should also be included in the survey. The survey will be discussed at the March meeting and finalized. Ben Kollenbroich will facilitate the printing and mailing out of the survey. Steve Wolfe nominated Jamie Derr as the nonvoting committee chair with a second from Caroline Towle. Motion approved with all present in favor. New committee members were recognized. They are Chris Vieau and Mike Hughes. Next month Chapters 3 & 4 will be reviewed. The next meeting is March 2nd, 2026. There being no further business on the agenda, motion by Steve Wolfe with a second from Mike Hughes to adjourn the meeting. The meeting adjourned at 7:10 pm.
