TOWN OF YORK, DANE COUNTY MINUTES - July 7, 2025 A special meeting of the Town of York was called to order by Chairman Helwig at 6:00 pm on July 7, 2025. Those present were Chairman Helwig, Supervisor Auchtung, Supervisor Derr and Linda Henning, Clerk/Treasurer. Tara Gibbons, York resident. Public Comment: Tara Gibbons expressed her opinions regarding the Town of York EMS services and her experiences while on the Marshall Village Board. Posting of the agenda and meeting notice was verified by the Clerk/Treasurer. Approval of the agenda: Motion by Supervisor Derr with a second by Supervisor Auchtung to approve of the agenda as posted. Agenda approved as posted This meeting was called to update the other Board members of the progress in the search for emergency medical services for the Town of York. There will be another joint meeting of the municipalities involved on July 10, 2025. Chairman Helwig reviewed the bids that were received for the RFP that was sent out. The differences in services and level of service for the bidders was reviewed. Discussion of abandoning Rath Road. The next meeting is on July 14, 2025. There was no further business on the agenda and on a motion by Supervisor Derr with a second from Supervisor Auchtung the meeting was adjourned. Meeting adjourned at 5:07 pm.
