Agenda 051925 TOWN OF SUN PRAIRIE PLAN COMMISSION MEETING Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Town of Sun Prairie Plan Commission will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, 5556 Twin Lane Road to transact the following business: Agenda: 1. Call meeting to order 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. Statement of Public Notice 4. Approve Minutes of the April 21, 2025 meeting 5. Recess for comments from the public 6. Public Hearing: on a request from Dane County Parks, on Parcel #0811-343-8060-9, 8.91 acres & Parcel #0811-343-8501-5, 35.98 acres, currently zoned A-1(EX) (Exclusive Agriculture) located at 4931 County Road TT. Dane County Parks would like to rezone 34.81 acres to NBR (Nature Based Recreational) and the remaining 6.55 acres to AG (Agriculture). 7. Consider and Take Action: on the request from Dane County Parks. 8. Public Hearing: on a request from Dennis Midthun, on Parcel #0811-313-9001-0, 6.32 acres, located at 4100 County Road TT, currently zoned RE-1 (Recreational District). Dennis would like to rezone this parcel to COM (Commercial) to put up mini-warehouses. 9. Consider and Take Action: on the request from Dennis Midthun. 10. Preliminary Hearing: on a request from Jake Smith, on Parcel #0811-183-8060-3, 16 acres, located at 3090 Bailey Rd., currently zoned A-1(EX) (Exclusive Agriculture District). Jake would like to rezone to create 3 new residential lots. 11. Preliminary Hearing: on a request from Gary Ziegler, on Parcel #0811-303-9120-0, 24.03 acres, located at 5048 Thorson Rd., currently zoned AG (Agriculture). Gary would like to construct some pole sheds. 12. Any Old Business/New Business • Discussion on the pending Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Sun Prairie and the Town of Sun Prairie. 13. Next meeting date: Monday, June 16, 2025 14.
