TOWN OF SUN PRAIRIE PLAN COMMISSION MEETING Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Town of Sun Prairie Plan Commission will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, 5556 Twin Lane Road to transact the following business: 1. Call meeting to order. 2. Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Statement of Public Notice. 4. Approve minutes of the March 17, 2025 Plan Commission meeting. 5. Recess for comments from the public. 6. Public Hearing: on the Conditional Use Permit request from Melissa Huston, on Parcel #0811-262-9811-0, 8.928 acres, currently zoned RBB (Rural Based Business) located at 5180 County Road TT. Melissa would like to hold estate sales, flea markets, etc., once a month in her current building/barn located on her property. 7. Consider and Take Action: on Melissa Huston’s request. 8. Preliminary Hearing: on a request from Dane County Parks, on Parcel #0811-343-8060-9, 8.91 acres & Parcel #0811-343-8501-5, 35.98 acres, currently zoned A-1 (EX) (Exclusive Agriculture) located at 4931 County Road TT. Dane County Parks would like to purchase Dennis Sieg’s parcels and do a land division and rezone. 9. Preliminary Hearing: on a request from Ben Stanger, from Green Box, LLC, on Parcel #0811-183-8060-3, 16 acres, currently zoned AG (Agriculture) located at 3080 Bailey Rd. Ben would like to rezone this property and build a food scrap composting site. 10. Preliminary Hearing: on a request from Dennis Midthun, on Parcel #0811-313-9001-0, 6.32 acres, currently zoned RE-1 (Recreational District). Dennis would like to discuss what can be done with this parcel. 11. Any Old or New business • Discussion on the pending amendment to our Town Zoning for Homebased Small Businesses. 12.
