Meeting minutes of September 14, 2026 Page 1 of 1 Approved 10/12/26 SPRINGFIELD PLAN COMMISSION Meeting Minutes – September 14, 2026 @ 6:30 p.m. 1. CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Chair Jeff Endres called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m. Roll call shows Chair Jeff Endres, Commissioners Kurt Acker, Ashley Ballweg, Jan Barman, Erik Marx, and Neil Statz present. Commissioner Wright was absent. Also present were Deputy Clerk-Treasurer Eckes, Mylinda Heil, John Schuster, Denise & Duane Nolden, Corey Wipperfurth, and BJ Bethke. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 2. CONFIRMATION OF POSTINGS FOR OPEN MEETING LAWS The Deputy Clerk confirmed that the agenda was posted at town hall and on the Town website. 3. PUBLIC COMMENT TIME – Corey Wipperfurth would like to build inside storage units in the current foot print with no set backs after the razing of the fire damaged building. There will be no business suites, all inside storage rentals. 4. APPROVAL OF PLAN COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES OF AUGUST 3, 2026: Motion by Commissioner Barman, seconded by Commissioner Marx to approve the August 3rd meeting minutes. Motion carried, 6-0. 5. DISCUSSION: CSM TO MERGE 0808-311-2287-3 & 0808-311-2298-0 ALEX TANKE Motion by Commissioner Ballweg, seconded by Commissioner Statz to table the CSM to merge 0808-311-2287-3 & 0808-311-2298-0 Alex Tanke. Motion carried, 6-0. 6. DISCUSSION: HOME SITE & DRIVEWAY LOCATION, Approx 7428 Riles Rd. 0808-201-9560-0 Melinda Heil, from McIntosh Homes, presented a drawing of where the new owners of the property would like to build a home with a pool on a 2.6 acre lot with the remaining 16.7 Acres (rest of parcel) being Lot # 2. 7. REZONE RESTRICTION MODIFICATION RE: SHARED DRIVEWAY 0808-091-6023-0 & 0808-091-6012-0 Motion by Commissioner Acker, seconded by Commissioner Ballweg to table the Rezone restriction modification RE: Shared Driveway 0808-091-6023-0 & 0808-091-6012-0. Motion carried, 6-0. 8. OLD BUSINESS 9. COMMUNICATIONS/ANNOUNCEMENTS 10. ADJOURN Motion by Commissioner Marx, seconded by Commissioner Acker to adjourn the meeting at 7:06 p.m. Motion carried, 6-0.
