Town Board Meeting 1. CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Chairman Laufenberg called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll call shows Chairperson Dave Laufenberg and Supervisors Tyler Jankowski, Matt Wright, and Leon Zinck III present. Sup. Meinholz is excused. Also present were Clerk-Treasurer Dianah Fayas, Deputy Clerk-Treasurer Doreen Jackson, Road Patrolman Darin Ripp, and Lori Eckes. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 2. CONFIRMATION OF COMPLIANCE WITH OPEN MEETINGS LAW The Clerk confirmed that the agenda was posted at town hall and on the Town website. 3. INFORMAL PUBLIC COMMENT TIME – None. 4. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: December 16, 2025 Motion by Sup. Zinck III, seconded by Sup. Wright to approve the December 16th minutes. Motion carried, 4-0. 5. DEPUTY CLERK-TREASURER INTERVIEW The Board interviewed and offered the applicant, Lori Eckes, the Deputy Clerk-Treasurer position. 6. ASSOCIATED APPRAISAL REVAL REVIEW Staff will invite Associated Appraisal to a future town board meeting to discuss the large increases in tax bills. 7. OLD BUSINESS a. BLIGHT, 7097 & 7166 COUNTY HWY. K Staff will work to develop enforcement procedures as described in the Property Maintenance Ordinance. 8. COMMITTEE REPORTS 9. ROAD PATROLMAN’S REPORT The Town of Berry may not be able to fund their portion of the Whippoorwill project this year. The Peterbilt aught to be back soon. The Dodge has a front axle leak. 10. Zinck III to adjourn the meeting at 8:20 p.m. Motion carried, 4- 0.
