MINUTES SPRINGDALE TOWN BOARD MONDAY, JANUARY 26, 2026 AT 6:30 P.M. 1. Call to order and certification of compliance with open meetings law by Rosenbaum at 6:32 PM. A quorum of TB members present including Rosenbaum, Altschul and Schwenn. Arthur also present and confirmed posting in accordance with the open meetings law 1/23 springdalewi.gov and 1/23 at Town Hall. Mt. Horeb Mail & Sunlight Report notified 1/23, pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 19.84(1)(b). 2. Approval of the agenda by unanimous consent. 3. Bid approval from R.G. Huston Company for Town Hall Rd. Bridge. 4 bids submitted, low bidder was R.G. Huston Company, Inc. (Cottage Grove) for $422,600. Other bidders were Larson Construction Co., Inc for $460,255.89; Pheifer Brothers Construction for $493,465.55; and Concrete Structures Inc., for $541,251.81. All bids were itemized as requested in the bid advertisement. Jewell was comfortable with the company and have dealt with them a number of times in the past. Hanold would prefer we award the “notice of award form” sooner rather than later, then the company can start lining up insurance and such to get organized. MOTION (Altschul/Schwenn) to award RJ Huston Company Inc. the 2026 TRID improvement project for a total of $422,600. No further discussion. 3 ayes, 0 nays. 4.
