TOWN OF RUTLAND ANNUAL MEETING Time: April 21, 2026 - 6:30 PM Agenda: 1. Call to order. 2. Minutes of 2025 Annual Meeting. 3. 2027 Annual Meeting Date. (Statutory Date: April 20, 2027) 4. Review Annual Report. 5. 2025 Highlights. 6. Town meeting business under 60.10, Wis. Stats.: a) Resolution No. 2026-04-01 IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Town Board of Supervisors of the Town of Rutland is hereby authorized, pursuant to s.60.10 (2)(a), Wis. Stats., to raise money including levying taxes, to pay for expenses of the Town. This resolution shall be in effect until the Annual Meeting, 2027. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that any action taken heretofore hereinafter to implement this resolution be and hereby are ratified and confirmed. Adopted the 21st day of April, 2026. b) Resolution No. 2026-04 -02. IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Town Board of Supervisors of the Town of Rutland is hereby authorized, pursuant to 60.10(2)(g), Wis. Stats., to dispose of town property, real or personal, other than property donated to and required to be held by the Town for a special purpose. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution shall be and shall remain in effect until the Annual Meeting, 2027. Adopted the 21st day of April, 2026. 7. Any other topics from the floor allowed under Wis. Stats. Ch 60.10. Note, the Town Meeting can act on those matters authorized by statute. 8. Topics from the floor other than as allowed under Wis. Stats. Ch 60.10. These topics and related comments are advisory only at the Town Meeting. Nothing can be decided at the Town Meeting and no action can be taken. The chairman of the Town Meeting reserves the right to limit the amount of time each person can speak on a given item. 9. Adjournment of Annual Town Meeting. Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Town Board of the Town of Rutland may be present at this meeting to gather information about subjects over which they have decision making responsibility. This constitutes a meeting of the Rutland Town Board pursuant to State ex rel. Badke v. Greendale Village Board, (1993) and must be noticed as such although the Town Board will not take any formal action at this meeting.
