Town of Rutland Planning Commission Meeting-MINUTES 785 Center Rd. March 30, 2026 – 6:30 p.m. This meeting will be held via zoom and in person at the Rutland Town Hall 1. Call Planning Commission meeting to order. Knutson called the meeting to order at 6:30. Kent Knutson is acting chair in PC chair Huycke’s absence. 2. Roll Call Derek Nedveck, Josh Cooper, Michelle Perz, Bill Boerigter and Kent Knutson were present. PC Chair Jim Huycke was absent. Kim Sime was also present. Others in attendance in person or via Zoom was Andrew Laundrie. 3. Approval of the March meeting minutes. Nedveck motioned to approve. Second by Cooper. MP 5-0 4. Discussion and possible action on DCTA Conditional Use Permit (CUP) Working Group. PC members discussed the proposed change of rezone and Conditional Use Permits for Ag districts. No action taken. 5. Discussion and possible action on PC appointments. Due to employment commitments, PC Chair Jim Huyck would like to step down from the Chair position and be reassigned to the alternate PC member. Knutson will move to the Chair position. Perz one year term will expire this month and would commit to a one year term as PC member. Knutson will discuss with the Town Board on Weds for approval. 6. Discussion on CE and training reviewing past discussion. Members discussed the ordinances and corrections from February meeting. No action taken. 7. Review future meeting dates.
