Minutes for Town of Wilson Monthly Meeting 4/21/2026 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Dan Meyer at 7:11 pm at the Town Hall. Present was Chairman Dan Meyer, Supervisors Ed Shilts and Aaron Vizer, Clerk Danielle Barka and Treasurer Robin Richardson. Also present were Tom Richardson and Wayne Bonick. On motion by Vizer/Shilts the Board approved the minutes of the March meeting as printed. The Treasurer's report was presented to the Board. The Board of Review will be held on April 30th, 2026 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. In road and park related items; the Board agreed to use Lonny Roth with Affordable Roadside Cutting for ditch mowing again this summer and fall at a rate of $75/hour. Meyer also asked that the Clerk post gravel/granite bids to be opened at next month's meeting. The Board also agreed that road ban signs could be removed from the roads; Meyer would contact Ron Schmitt to have them taken down. Meyer also hopes that the County will have a bridge meeting coming up in the next month for the new bridge on Gravel Pit Road; the engineering company will also have a home base trailer parked in the Hall parking lot again this summer. The Board also agreed to turn the park electric back on by May 15th. Meyer noted that Jerry commented that farmers were bringing in large amounts of ag plastic to the dump and filling the dumpsters. He contacted Troy Bauer from GFL to see if there were any recycling or dumpster programs for ag plastic. There is a company out of Madison that could place a dumpster but pick up times are very long. The Board will contact the County to see if there are any programs available through them. The Clerk submitted bills for payment; all of which were approved along with any others that arrive and are due before the next monthly meeting. The next monthly meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, May 12th, 2026 This meeting is to follow the already scheduled annual meeting for 7:00pm that evening.
