Minutes for Town of Wilson Monthly Meeting 10/14/2025 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Dan Meyer at 7:03 pm at the Town Hall. Present was Chairman Dan Meyer, Supervisor Ed Shilts, Clerk Danielle Barka and Treasurer Robin Richardson. Also present was Tom Richardson. Absent was Supervisor Aaron Vizer. On motion by Shilts/Meyer the Board approved the minutes of the September meeting as printed. The Treasurer's report was presented to the Board. The Clerk presented the preliminary 2026 budget to the Board and all present. The biggest increase to the budget next year would be under fire protection where the Town will now be paying out $4000 to B-E-D fire department. The Board will vote to approve the 2026 budget at the budget and levy special meeting on November 18th. The Chairman noted that the Town is still looking for someone to clean the hall. Robin noted she could clean before the next rental on the 18th and will then check with a couple people to see if they would be interested. In road related items; Meyer noted that he received a letter stating that the bridge on HWY MM over the Wolf River is to be replaced and will require detours in that area. ABE concrete is still trying to come this fall to lay the rest of the concrete parking lot in front of the hall and shop. In park related items there was new granite put on the driveway in the park. The popup camper that was sitting in the park has now been removed. Ed noted he thought there was a sign at the park that stated to contact the Clerk for bookings but the Town does not take reservations for the park so Ed will remove the sign. The Clerk submitted bills for payment; all of which were approved along with any others that arrive and are due before the next monthly meeting. The next WTA meeting is October 30th, 2025 at 6:30 pm. The next monthly meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, November 18th, 2025 at 7:00p.m. at the Town Hall. On motion by Meyer/Shilts the meeting adjourned at 7:51pm. Danielle Barka, Clerk
