Minutes for Town of Wilson Monthly Meeting 5/13/2025 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Daniel Meyer at 7:08 pm at the Town Hall. Present were Supervisors Ed Shilts and Aaron Vizer, Clerk Danielle Barka and Treasurer Robin Richardson. Also present were Tom Richardson and Wayne Bonick. On motion by Shilts/Vizer the Board approved the minutes of the April meeting as printed. The Treasurer's report was presented to the Board. In road related items, Jerry Darrow will be having knee surgery and has contacted John Shilts to fill in at the dump and Meyer will contact Ron Schmitt to mow and take care of the park until Jerry’s recovery has commenced. Granite and Gravel bids were opened and as follows: Worden Enterprises bid for crushed red granite at $22.70/cubic yard and Haas Inc. bid for ¾” blue granite at $17.43/cubic yard and $1 more per cubic yard for Town residents. The Board accepted both bids per Vizer/Shilts. Meyer and Shilts attended the B-E-D fire department meeting and would like the Town to provide a $4,000 subsidy starting next year for department costs and services. The Board approved that it be added to next year's budget. Finally; Meyer asked that a Public Service Commission notice be posted regarding expanding substations from Eau Claire to Jump River. The Clerk submitted bills for payment; all of which were approved along with any others that arrive and are due before the next monthly meeting. The next monthly meeting was schedules for Tuesday June 10th, 2025 at the the Town Hall. Motion to adjourn the meeting by Vizer/Shilts at 7:36pm. Danielle Barka, Clerk
