March 20, 2026 Meeting Minutes Town of Washington/Vilas County Page 1 Town of Washington Vilas County, Wisconsin Minutes Special Session Town of Washington Board of Supervisors Friday, March 20, 2026, 1:00 pm, at the Washington Town Hall Located at 2301 Town Hall Rd Visit the town website for more information town-of-washington.org Board Members Present: Jim Egan Town Chairman Art Granat Town Supervisor Carole Linn Town Supervisor Tiffany Bolte - Excused Town Treasurer Nancy Sobralski Town Clerk There were 3 other people in attendance Meeting Minutes: 1 Call to Order Meeting called to order at 1:00 pm 2 Verification of Postings Sobralski stated the agenda was properly posted at the Wild Eagle Corner Store, MJ’s Wayside, the Town Hall and on the Town's website. Local news media were notified more than 24 hours in advance. 3 It is anticipated that a motion will be made and seconded to convene into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. Section 19.85 (1) (c) for the purpose of considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Transfer Station Attendant Motion - Linn Seconded – Granat All voting aye – Approved 4 Adjourn closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. Section 19.85 (1) (c) and return to open session. Motion – Egan Seconded –Granat All voting aye – Approved 5 The board may consider ratifying any action taken in closed session Transfer Station Attendant - an offer of employment will be extended in the next week. 6 Adjournment Motion - Egan Seconded - Granat All voting aye – Approved Meeting adjourned at 2:26 pm.
