April 10, 2026 Meeting Minutes Town of Washington/Vilas County Page 1 Town of Washington Vilas County, Wisconsin Minutes Special Session Town of Washington Board of Supervisors Friday, April 10, 2026, 1:00 pm, at the Washington Town Hall Located at 2301 Town Hall Rd Visit the town website for more information town-of-washington.org Board Members Present: Jim Egan Town Chairman Art Granat Town Supervisor Carole Linn Town Supervisor Tiffany Bolte - Excused Town Treasurer Nancy Sobralski Town Clerk There were 3 other people in attendance Meeting Minutes: 1 Call to Order Meeting called to order at 1:00 pm 2 Verification of Postings Sobralski stated the agenda was properly posted at the Wild Eagle Corner Store, MJ’s Wayside, the Town Hall and on the Town's website. Local news media were notified more than 24 hours in advance. 3 It is anticipated that a motion will be made and seconded to convene into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. Section 19.85 (1) (c) for the purpose of considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Discussion with Highway/Town Crew Motion - Linn Seconded – Granat All voting aye – Approved 4 Adjourn closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. Section 19.85 (1) (c) and return to open session. Motion – Egan Seconded – Linn All voting aye – Approved 5 The board may consider ratifying any action taken in closed session Discussed snow removal and will change weekend snow removal to 2 inches of snowfall, rather than the previous protocol at 4 inches. For the 6/1/2026 plan year, health insurance premium increased 17.62%, reviewing other options to reduce cost. 6 Adjournment Motion - Egan Seconded - Linn All voting aye – Approved Meeting adjourned at 2:24 pm.
