December 8, 2025 Meeting Minutes Town of Washington/Vilas County Page 1 Town of Washington Vilas County, Wisconsin Minutes Town of Washington Board of Supervisors Monday, December 8, 2025, 5:15 pm, at the Washington Town Hall Located at 2301 Town Hall Rd Visit the town website for more information town-of-washington.org Board Members Present: Jim Egan Town Chairman Art Granat Town Supervisor Carole Linn Town Supervisor Tiffany Bolte Town Treasurer Nancy Sobralski Town Clerk There were 6 other people in attendance Meeting Minutes: 1 Call to Order Meeting called to order at 5:15 pm 2 Pledge of Allegiance Recited by all 3 Verification of Postings Sobralski stated the agenda was properly posted at the Wild Eagle Corner Store, MJ’s Wayside, the Town Hall and on the Town's website. Local news media were notified more than 24 hours in advance. 4 Approval of the agenda to be discussed in any order at the discretion of the Chairman Motion - Linn Seconded – Granat All voting aye - Approved 5 Approval of the previous minutes from November 3 and November 18, 2025 Motion – Granat Seconded – Linn All voting aye - Approved 6 Treasurer’s Report Bolte presented the November 2025 treasurer’s report. Bolte also advised 2025 tax bills were mailed today. 7 Town Foreman Report For the month of November, the crew was busy with snowplowing and sanding, including working on Thanksgiving Day. Work was performed on one of the plow trucks and repair work was approximately $24,000. Due to weather and road priorities, work on re-addressing per the Vilas County ordinance will pause until Spring. Additionally, due to weather, beaver removal on Lynx Lake is paused. Smokey the Bear sign was put away for the year. 8 Women on Snow – Use of Chain O’Lakes Rd Last weekend of January (Jan 23 to Jan 25), Woman on Snow will be holding their annual event and requested snowmobile usage on Chain O Lakes Rd. The Sno Eagles will provide resources and perform the necessary signage. 9 Approval – 2026 Town Budget Motion - Egan Seconded - Linn All voting aye - Approved December 8, 2025 Meeting Minutes Town of Washington/Vilas County Page 2 10 Topics for Town E-News Budget, paying taxes electronically, transfer station permit, Woman on Snow, snowmobile safety, access and routes, election/absentee ballot requests, and one-way travel on East Dollar Lake Rd during pond hockey. 11 Approval of Bills Motion - Egan Seconded - Granat All voting aye - Approved 12 Adjournment Motion - Egan Seconded - Granat All voting aye – Approved Meeting adjourned at 5:34 pm Nancy Sobralski – Town Clerk Date of Approval - 01/05/2026
