November 3, 2025 Meeting Minutes Town of Washington/Vilas County Page 1 Town of Washington Vilas County, Wisconsin Minutes Town of Washington Board of Supervisors Monday, November 3, 2025, 5:15 pm, at the Washington Town Hall Located at 2301 Town Hall Rd Visit the town website for more information town-of-washington.org Board Members Present: Jim Egan Town Chairman Art Granat Town Supervisor Carole Linn Town Supervisor Tiffany Bolte Town Treasurer Nancy Sobralski Town Clerk There were 9 other people in attendance Meeting Minutes: 1 Call to Order Meeting called to order at 5:15 pm 2 Pledge of Allegiance Recited by all 3 Verification of Postings Sobralski stated the agenda was properly posted at the Wild Eagle Corner Store, MJ’s Wayside, the Town Hall and on the Town's website. Local news media were notified more than 24 hours in advance. 4 Approval of the agenda to be discussed in any order at the discretion of the Chairman Motion - Linn Seconded – Granat All voting aye - Approved 5 Approval of the previous minutes from October 6, 2025 and October 22, 2025 Motion – Granat Seconded – Linn All voting aye - Approved 6 Treasurer’s Report Bolte presented the October 2025 treasurer’s report. 7 Town Foreman Report In the month of October, the town crew hauled and mixed sand for winter road work and started to install new firelane signs per the Vilas County ordinance. Pitlik & Wick completed East Anvil Lake Rd and road signs have been installed. Additionally, the brush site signs were removed due to closure for the season. Work is in progress to install winter plow equipment on the trucks. 8 ERCLA Buoy Fund – Jody Voight Jody V oight presented the board with a contribution of $5,000 from ERCLA for the buoy program. 9 Budget Workshop Sobralski presented the 2026 Budget and provided a high level overview. 10 CPR/First Aid Refresher Training Refresher training is scheduled for November 13. 11 Operator License Approval Sobralski presented the application for an operator license for Robert Hallisy. Applicant has completed the application, paid the fee, completed the server course, and passed the background check.
