Planning Commission — Minutes

The meeting was called to order by chairman Phillip Braithwaite Pledge of Allegiance recited Present where-Sue Zingshiem, Phillip Braithwaite, Robert Wendt, John Lutz, Keith Reamer and Michael Haag. Minutes from Previous Meeting-July 29, 2025 Motion to approve minutes by Keith Reamer, 2nd John Lutz-Motion carried 5-0 Rezone Permit Application- Robert Wendt, Allen Wendt, and Charlene Stark Parcel # 36/0812-042--8610-0 Current Zoning-Farmland Preservation-35 (FP35) 25.23 acres Proposed Zoning- Farmland Preservation-1 (FP-1) 9.0 acres Intended Use- No change in use at present. To allow for sale at a future date Density units- One in Medina and One in York The parcel is divided by the road Hwy TT from the home farm Phillip made Robert aware that the building rite may go back to original farm as it was prior to 1981 At time of sale density may not be available to that parcel. Robert would have to transfer density or new owner would have to purchase one thru Medina TDR (Transfer of Developmental Rite) Motion to Approve Rezone by John Lutz, 2nd by Keith Reamer, motion carried. 5-0 The above will be presented to the Medina Town Board Wed- September 10, 2025 6pm Adjourn-Motion by Keith Reamer 6:15 pm Sue Zingshiem/Planning Co.
