Call to OrderThe first meeting of the 2026 Board of Review was called to order at 8:07 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the Oregon Town Hall by Board of Review Chair Carl Walser.2. Roll CallClerk Hanson called roll. Board of Review Members Present: Carl Walser, Laurie Fitzgerald, Arlan Kay, Steve Jernegan, and Tim LeBrun. Also present: Clerk Jennifer Hanson. Absent: Town Assessor.3. Discussion and Possible Action re: Due to the fact the assessment roll is not completed at this time, the Board of Review will be adjourned until the 23rd day of July 2026 at 12:00pm.Clerk Jennifer Hanson reported that the Assessor was unable to attend the meeting. The Clerk formally informed the Board that the 2026 assessment roll was incomplete and not ready for review. Based on communication with the Assessor, the estimated completion date for the assessment roll is July 6, 2026.Chair Walser moved to adjourn the Board of Review due to the incomplete status of the 2026 assessment roll and to reconvene on July 23, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. (noon). Kay seconded the motion. Motion carried, 5-0.4. AdjournmentThere being no further business, the Board of Review meeting was adjourned at 8:08 p.m.The Clerk noted that a written notice stating the exact date and time to which the meeting has been adjourned will be immediately posted on the outer door of the meeting place in compliance with Wis. Pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 70.47(3), the Board of Review will reconvene on: Thursday, July 23, 2026 12:00 p.m. (noon) 2:00 p.m. Oregon Town Hall, 1138 Union Road, Oregon, WI 53575 At this reconvened meeting, the Board may consider further adjournment if the roll remains incomplete, or it may proceed with standard Board of Review business if the assessment roll has been completed and open book has occurred.
