Town of Perry Minutes of Town Board Meeting Tuesday, August 25, 2026 Perry Town Hall 1. Call to order. Chairman Roger Kittleson called the meeting to order at 10:00 AM. Supervisors Ken Hefty and Mick Klein Kennedy, and Clerk/Treasurer Stephanie Zwettler were present. Also in attendance: Road Patrolman Mark Eastman. 2. MHTC utility work – Spring Valley Rd. The Town Board reviewed construction plans and the request to work in the right-of-way on Spring Valley Road at CTH JG to adjust existing cable facilities and extend buried fiber optic cable. Mick Klein Kennedy moved and Ken Hefty seconded the motion to approve the request for utility work in the right-of-way on Spring Valley Rd at CTH JG. 3. Closed Session. Dane Co. Circuit Court case 15CV0065 DSG : Hauge Historic District Park easement negotiations: Ken Hefty moved and Mick Klein Kennedy seconded a motion to convene a closed session under WI § 19.85(1)(g) to confer with legal counsel concerning strategy and WI §19.85(1)(b) and (c) personnel. Roll call: Ken Hefty, Yes. Mick Klein Kennedy, Yes. Roger Kittleson, Yes. Motion carried. Ken Hefty moved and Mick Klein Kennedy seconded a motion to reconvene an open session. Roll call: Ken Hefty, Yes. Mick Klein Kennedy, Yes. Roger Kittleson, Yes. Motion carried. 4. Ken Hefty moved and Roger Kittleson seconded the motion to direct Mick Klein Kennedy to discuss the results of the Hauge Historic District Park driveway bid review with Attorney Mark Rooney and MSA engineers and suggest a possible follow-up meeting. Motion carried. 5. Adjournment. Mick Klein Kennedy moved and Ken Hefty seconded a motion to adjourn. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 11:25 AM.
