Town of Perry Minutes of Land Use Committee Meeting Wednesday, August 6, 2025 Perry Town Hall, 10084 County Highway A 1. Call to Order. Committee Chairman Dean Vogel called the meeting to order at 7:02 PM. Committee members Jeff Anderson, Kevin Hefty, Bird Cupps, and Deputy Clerk Stephanie Zwettler were present. Also in attendance: Marty Witt. 2. Minutes of Previous Meeting – July 2, 2025. Jeff Anderson moved and Kevin Hefty seconded a motion to approve the minutes of the Land Use Committee meeting held on July 2, 2025, as presented. Motion carried. 3. Martin Witt, 9647 Overland Rd – review and consider deed restrictions. Marty Witt provided a copy of the restrictions and covenants recorded with the Register of Deeds in 1995 for Lots 1 through 3 on Certified Survey Map 7681. He explained that, according to the document, the covenants may be terminated or amended after thirty (30) years if signed by at least two of the three lot owners and approved by the Town of Perry. The Land Use Committee members will review the document for the next meeting and request the other property owners confirm their agreement. 4. Dane Co. zoning updates – review proposed zoning changes for selected parcels. The Committee members evaluated the remainder of zoning change proposals, provided recommendations, and requested more information on specific parcels. The Committee will finalize the list of parcels at the next meeting. 5. Town Comprehensive Plan – review and discuss updates. Deputy Clerk Stephanie Zwettler distributed copies of the draft amendments to Land Use Committee members. The Committee will review and propose revisions to the amendments at the next meeting with Dane County Senior Planner Bridgit Van Belleghem. 6. Pending applications – review and discussion. Deputy Clerk Stephanie Zwettler reported that there are no pending applications at this time. 7. Schedule meetings. Site views will be held on August 30, 2025, and the meeting and public hearing s will be held on September 3 , 2025, at 7:00 PM , for applications submitted by August 15, 2025. 8. Adjourn. Jeff Anderson moved and Bird Cupps seconded a motion to adjourn. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:50 PM.
