Town of Perry Minutes of Public Hearing Perry Town Hall Tuesday, March 11, 2025 Teleconference - 425-585-6272 access - 394-722-206 # 1. Call to order. Chairman Roger Kittleson called the hearing to order at 7:00 PM. Supervisor Ken Hefty and Supervisor Mick Klein Kennedy, Treasurer – Deputy Clerk Stephanie Zwettler and Clerk Mary Price were present. Also in attendance: Road Patrolman Mark Eastman, Michele Kittleson, James Gibson, Susan Medaris. 2. Discontinuance of Part of Moen Road . Chairman Roger Kittleson presented background information and petition submitted by James Gibson and Susan Medaris to discontinue approximately .11 miles adjoining parcels 050631385009 and 050631390002 – at western Moen Road boundary, postal address 123 Drammen Valley Road. James Gibson reviewed process to discontinue the road – contact with Dane Co. Zoning Department to verify Proximity Notice requirements: From: "Hilbert, Hans" <Hilbert.Hans@danecounty.gov> Date: February 12, 2025 at 2:16:11 PM CST To: jsgibsons <jsgibsons@tds.net> Subject: RE: Proximity notice “James, The proximity notice shows up because of the intermittent stream starting in the woods and flowing northwest. Lands within 300 feet of the stream are subject to shoreland zoning regulation. This will not impact any vacation of the right-of-way of Moen Rd. Hans. “ Clerk Mary Price sent a request on Feb. 18, 2025 for a review to determine wetland delineation, potential impact, and navigability determination per WI §66.1006 . The DNR response has not been received. The Town Board discussed potential steps to approve the discontinuance with contingencies. 3. Adjourn. Adjourn.
