11-21-2023 Levy Adoption

SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING – November 21, 2023 – Immediately after the Public Hearing, In Person and Via Zoom TOWN HALL, 2354 County Highway N PRESENT: Chairperson Green, and Clerk/Treasurer Maria Hougan. ABSENT: Larry Schuller OTHERS PRESENT: Melanie Miller, Eric Olson, and Faith Schuck, Joe Murray, Kenneth Schuck Chairperson Green called the meeting to order at 5:42 p.m. BUSINESS: Discussion and possible action on the adoption of the 2023 town tax levy, to be paid in 2024, pursuant to WI Statutes section 60.10(1)(a). The Board reviewed the proposed budget. Chair Green reported out the proposed budget and levy. Motion by Kenneth Schuck, seconded by Faith Schuck, to approve adoption of the 2023 town tax levy, to be paid in 2024, in the amount of $957,982.00, pursuant to WI Statutes section 60.10(1)(a). Motion carries unanimously.
