BADKE NOTICE
CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF MENOMONIE
September 23, 2026

Pursuant to Wis. Stats. 19.84(2) and (3), notice is hereby given that a majority of the City
Council may be present at Lucette Brewing (910 Hudson Rd, Menomonie, WI 54751) on
Wednesday September 23, 2026 at 8:30am to attend an event entitled “Wisconsin Economic
Development Association - Economic Development 101”.
The topics of conversation will include economic development.
For the purposes of the open meeting law only, this constitutes a meeting of the City Council
pursuant to State ex rel Badke v. Greendale Village Board, 173 Wis. 2d 533, 494 NW2d 408
(1993), and must be noticed as such, although the City Council will not take any formal action at
this time.
