1 MINUTES Note: These are the proposed Minutes that will be approved at the next meeting. ____________________________________________________________________________ Town of Sharon Board Meeting Thursday, June 11, 2026 – 6:30 p.m. Sharon Town Hall 1.Call to Order: Chairman Check called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 2.Roll Call: Supervisor Gibbs, Supervisor Gagas, Clerk Treasurer Filtz were present. Chairman Check was absent (excused). Joe Jakubek, Road Foreman, and a few other town residents were present. 3. Notice of Meeting Postings: Notice of the meeting was posted in three places in the Town of Sharon (town hall window, kiosk between Sylvia’s and Polonia Café, kiosk in front of North Star Machine) and on the town website and Facebook. 4. Approval of Agenda: Motion made by Supervisor Gagas, seconded by Supervisor Gibbs to approve the agenda. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion carried. 5. Approval of Minutes of May 14, 2026, Board Meeting: Motion made by Supervisor Gagas, seconded by Supervisor Gibbs to approve the Minutes. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion carried. 6. Approval of the Bill Listing for May 15, 2026, through June 11, 2026: Motion made by Supervisor Gagas, seconded by Supervisor Gibbs to approve the Bill Listing. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion carried. 7. Plan Commission Report: Supervisor Gibbs did not have a Plan Commission report this month. 8. Polonia Park Commission Report: Supervisor Gibbs read the report from Park Commission Co-Chair Lori Printz into the record. 9.Class B Combination Retail Renewal Liquor Licenses: Motion made by Supervisor Gagas, seconded by Supervisor Gibbs to approve the liquor licenses for Becky’s Polonia Café LLC, Sylvia’s of Polonia LLC, North Star Antiques & Country Store, Merryland Ballroom, Tomek’s II LLC, The Duck Blind, Eme’s Bar, Matero’s, Blackhawk Archers and JR’s Saloon. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion carried. 10.Cigarette Renewal Licenses: Motion made by Supervisor Gagas, seconded by Supervisor Gibbs to approve the Cigarette Licenses for Matero’s and Sylvia’s of Polonia LLC. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion carried. 2 11.Operator Licenses: Motion made by Supervisor Gagas, seconded by Supervisor Gibbs to approve the renewal and new Operator Licenses per list attached. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion carried. 12. Chairman’s Report: Bruce Boenski, Sharon EMS, had to leave on an emergency call so no report was given. The money from the Twin Lakes project was approved to be moved/used on Bentley Road. Ditch mowing is being done and the overlay on Jacqualine Lake S has been completed.
