800 Wilson Ave Menomonie, WI 54751 715-232-2221 Page 1 of 1 Menomonie Tourism Commission Meeting Minutes July 8, 2026 The Menomonie Tourism Commission was called to order by Grady Richartz on July 8, 2026, at 10:05 a.m. in the City of Menomonie Council Chambers. Roll Call: Matthew Crowe, Barbara Bauer -Chen, Amanda Pickerign -Yaeger, Grady Richartz , Camden Hargrove, and Julie Holger. Others Present: Eric Atkinson, Pam Wildner and Tammy Simon Motion to approve the March 11, 2026, minutes was made by Crowe and seconded by Richartz. Motion carried unanimously. Atkinson provided the 1st quarter room tax data. Simon provided the Chamber reports. The next meeting date was set for September 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers. Simon mentioned the Tourism Conference will be November 12 th – 13th in Eau Claire. Anyone interested in attending should contact her. Pickerign-Yaeger spoke about creating Explore Menomonie Baskets for hotels and being a peer representative to work with other hotels regarding communications. Richartz noted that UW-Stout move in is August 22-30 and Homecoming is October 17th. Motion to adjourn was made by Crowe and seconded by Hargrove. The motion carried unanimously.
