POLONIA PARK COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES– May 11, 2026 at 6 PM Sharon Town Hall 6704 State Hwy 66 Custer, WI Attendees: Lori Printz, Gayle Hintz, Katie Osowski, Alyssa Gagas, Cortney Zinda Town Board Members: Invitees: Author: Katie Osowski ____________________________________________________________________________ AGENDA • Call meeting to order at 6:00pm • Roll call: Gayle, Katie, Cortney, Lori, Alyssa, • Notice of public meeting & how given: Polonia Kiosk, Facebook, Town Web site, North Star Machine, Town Hall • Approval of May 11th agenda: Gayle made a motion to approve May 11th’s agenda, Cortney seconded it. • Approval of April 13, 2026 Park Commission meeting minutes: Katie made a motion to approve the April 13, 2026 Park Commission meeting minutes; Gayle seconded it. • Approval of Treasurer report: Alyssa made a motion to approve the treasurer report, Cortney seconded it. o Checking account: $2,601.65 o Savings account: $18,133.80 o CD: $50,239.51 o Shirt Sales: $80.00 o Scott’s Portable Toilets, surcharge of $5.00 for a total of $170.00/month. • Recap Egg Hunt o Came out ahead- profit. • Discuss/action Yoga in the Park o Second Monday in June it’ll start. (June 8th at 6pm.) o Gayle made a motion to start the yoga June 8th, Cortney seconded it. • Discuss bldg. subcommittee mtg from April 20th, (rcvd Kramm invoice of $3,700.00) • Discuss regarding additional wood chips to playground o Alyssa to reach out for woodchip placement. • Discuss/action regarding Bylaws amendments o Katie made a motion to amend the Polonia Park bylaws, Alyssa seconded it. • Discuss steak dinner fundraiser info- mailing ltrs o 5 letters sent out. o Tickets to be printed and ready for the meeting in June. o Start looking at supplies needed for the steak dinner • Discuss regarding Fall Fest Vendors o Alyssa reached out to the vendors from last year. Awaiting responses. o Gayle spoke with Becky from Polonia Café. Cars will be at the event. Chair report • Rosholt Record April edition- Steak dinner change of date, May edition Egg hunt and Yoga in the park. (Due May 13th) • Town board meeting Thursday, May 14th • Received Class A&B license’s • Any new business • Schedule June meeting: Monday, June 8th, 2026 at 5:30pm. • Adjournment: Gayle made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:01pm, Katie seconded it.
