TOWN OF STAR PRAIRIE, WIS.PLAN COMMISSION MEETING - MINUTESWEDNESDAY, JUNE 19, 2024 – 6:30 P.M.STAR PRAIRIE TOWN HALL2118 COOK DRIVE, SOMERSET, WISCONSIN The Plan Commission Meeting was called to order by Bob Crotty at 6:34 p.m. in the Star Prairie Town Hall: 2118 Cook Drive, Somerset, WI 54025. Members of the Plan Commision who were present: Bob Crotty, Brian Duggan, Annette Noak, Ross Noak and Craig Warren. Naomi Littig was absent. Matt Soch: Concept Review: Plan Commission reviewed concept plan submitted by Michael Erickson of Four Seasons Land Surveying, LLC. Parcel is zoned R-2, and they’d like to grant an easement to the new parcel for use of the existing driveway. Town of Star Prairie Ordinance 6-4-1(k) states that joint/shared driveways should provide access to no more than two lots/parcels and St. Croix County Ordinance 15.405(4)(a) defines a private road as providing access to three or more properties. Existing lot already has access to two parcels, and proposed lot would be the third. Commission also expressed concern regarding driveway width between shed and existing home. Motion M/S by Ross Noak/Annette Noak to table the plan to allow time for the homeowner to get more information about driveway/private road requirements. Motion carried. Clerk directed to forward the plan to the Town Attorney for comment regarding easements and private road designation/requirements. Adjourn: Motion M/S by Ross Noak/Brian Duggan to adjourn.
