CITY OF GILLETT COMMON COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING Council Chambers – Municipal Building 150 N McKenzie Ave – Gillett, WI 54124 THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2025 AT 4:45 PM 1 MINUTES 1. Mayor Blaskowski called the special meeting to order at 4:45 pm. 2. Roll Call Present: Alderpersons Jerry Luther, David Bunker , Nanette Mohr, Keri Hicks , Matt Young, and Ashely VanStraten. Clerk Treasurer Chelsea Anderson and Mayor Jon Blaskowski. Clerk informs the Council that the Open Meeting Law has been complied with 3. Public Input-None 4. Committee may go into closed session to discuss matters of employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of public employees pursuant to 19.85 (1c) Wis. Stats. MOTION: Mohr/VanStraten Motion to go into Closed Session at 4:46 pm, to include council members, clerk and mayor. Roll Call Vote: All Voting Aye – MOTION CARRIED 5. Committee will return to open session and may take action on matters discussed in closed session. MOTION: Mohr/Young Motion to return to Open Session at 5:35 pm. Roll Call Vote: All Voting Aye – MOTION CARRIED MOTION: VanStraten/Bunker Motion to take action on item in closed session. Roll Call Vote: All Voting Aye – MOTION CARRIED 6. Adjournment at 5:38 pm.
