CITY OF GILLETT PARKS AND CEMETERY COMMITTEE Council Chambers – Municipal Building 150 N McKenzie Ave – Gillett, WI 54124 THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2025 AT 8:30 AM MINUTES Committee may deviate from the agenda as needed Chairperson Luther called the meeting to order at 8:30 AM. Roll Call Present: Alderpersons Jerry Luther and Keri Hicks. Clerk Treasurer Chelsea Anderson and Mayor Jon Blaskowski. Alderperson Nanette Mohr, Ad Hoc Members Chris Byars, Irene Drake, Ron Anderson, and Dawn Byars. MSA Art Bahr, Dan Rammer, and Alec Livieri. Ashley VanStraten Excused. Open Meeting Law has been complied with. Public Input –None AGENDA ITEMS: 1. Discussion and Possible Action on Minutes from June 11, 2025 MOTION: Hicks/Luther Motion to approve the minutes from June 11, 2025. Voice Vote: All Voting Aye – MOTION CARRIED 2. Discussion and Possible Action on Zippel Park Plans: Had conversation Parks Ad Hoc Committee on placement, size, bathroom size and location, lighting, underground utilities, pickleball court, memorial bricks in pathway, a water feature, and more. Will stake out the proposed location of the playground for members to observe. 3. Set Next Meeting Date: Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 9:00 AM. 4. Adjournment at 10:45 AM.
