CITY OF GILLETT PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE MEETING Council Chambers – Municipal Building 150 N McKenzie Ave – Gillett, WI 54124 WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6, 2025 AT 6:20 PM MINUTES Chairperson Hicks called the meeting to order at 6:20 pm. Roll Call Present: Alderpersons Keri Hicks, Jerry Luther and Matt Young Also Present: Alderpersons Nanette Mohr, David Bunker, Ashley VanStraten, Mayor Jon Blaskowski, and Clerk Chelsea Anderson. Public Input: None AGENDA ITEMS: 1. Discussion and Possible Action on May 21 and June 11, 2025 MOTION: Luther/Hicks Motion to approve minutes from May 21 and June 11, 2025 Voice Vote: All Voting Aye – MOTION CARRIED 2. Discussion and Possible Action on We Energies Light Poles MOTION: Luther/Young Motion to approve the We Energies Light Pole Agreements, not to exceed $9,000. Roll Call Vote: All Voting Aye – MOTION CARRIED 3. Discussion and Possible Action on dumpsters MOTION: Luther/Young Motion to approve discontinuing the recycling dumpster located at the recycle center and the Zippel Park garbage dumpster. Roll Call Vote: All Voting Aye – MOTION CARRIED 4. Set Next Meeting Date –To Be Determined. 5. Adjournment at 6:30 PM. MOTION: Luther/Hicks Motion to adjourn.
