CITY OF GILLETT FINANCE AND PERSONNEL COMMITTEE Council Chambers – Municipal Building 150 N McKenzie Ave – Gillett, WI 54124 THURSDAY, APRIL 3, 2025 AT 5:15 PM MINUTES Committee may deviate from the agenda as needed Chairperson Mohr called the meeting to order at 5:15 PM. Roll Call Present: Alderpersons Nanette Mohr and Ashley VanStraten Alderpersons Irene Drake, Jerry Luther, Matt Young, Mayor Jon Blaskowski and Clerk Treasurer Chelsea Anderson. David Bunker is excused. Open Meeting Law has been complied with. Public Input –None AGENDA ITEMS 1. Discussion and possible minutes from February 6, 2025 MOTION: VanStraten/Mohr Motion to approve the minutes from February 6, 2025 Voice Vote: All Voting Aye – MOTION CARRIED 2. Committee may go into closed session to discuss matters of employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of public employees pursuant to 19.85 (1c) Wis. Stats. MOTION: VanStraten/Mohr Motion to go into Closed Session at 5:17 pm to include mayor, clerk, and council members. Voice Vote: All Voting Aye – MOTION CARRIED 3. Committee will return to open session and may take action on matters discussed in closed session. MOTION: VanStraten/Mohr Motion to go into Open Session at 5:41 pm. Voice Vote: All Voting Aye – MOTION CARRIED 4. Discussion and possible action on shift hours and call out/overtime hours- after plowing all night, should employees stay for shift or leave. Employees shall leave but can be called for emergencies. Utility should have someone available as well. Will have attorney write a policy. 5. Set Next Meeting Date- To Be Determined 6.
