Proceedings – July 27, 2022 Town of Chase Plan Commission Meeting 1. Call to Order and Roll Call Plan Commission Chairman, Dennis Kroll called the public hearing to order at 7:30 pm in the Chase Town Hall located at 8481 County Road S, Pulaski, WI 54162. Notices were posted in the three town display boxes which are located at the Town Recycling Center, North Chase Citgo, and South Chase Saloon. Plan Commission Members Present: Chairman – Dennis Kroll, Jeff VanEnkevort, Perry Baugnet, Derek Leisner, Annette Peligrin and Secretary – Jeromy Delebreau. Absent: Seth Ostrowski, 2. Recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag The Pledge of Allegiance was recited at the public hearing. 3. Approve the Agenda: a. Change of Sequence - None b. Remove Items – None Motion by Perry/Annette to approve the agenda as printed. Motion was called and carried 6-0. 4. Approve Prior Meeting Minutes Motion by Jeff/Seth to approve the prior meeting minutes from January 5, 2022. Motion was called and carried 6-0. 5. Discuss and Act on the Options of Mulberry Lane Luke Nelson stated that he has reached out to Shallow Surveying and would like to combine the lots. Dennis Kroll provided Nelson with an email from the Oconto County Zoning office of steps required if they would like to petition the town to discontinue Mulberry Lane. One of the requirements is that all surrounding landowners agree to the discontinuance. There is one additional landowner and Nelson stated he would talk with her and try to get a letter for the discontinuance. No action was taken by the planning commission on the discontinuance of Mulberry Lane. 6. Discuss and Act on Potential Candidate for the Planning Commission. Dennis Kroll stated that Mark is stepping down and that Derek Leisner reached out to the town and wanted to become involved. Kroll talked with Leisner and thought he would be a good candidate. Motion by Jeff/Perry to recommend to the town board that Derek Leisner be appointed to the planning commission. Motion was called and carried 6-0. 7. Discuss and Act on the Reorganization of Planning Commission. Discussion on reappointments to current terms for Seth and Perry for three year terms and to place the new appointment on a one year term. Motion by Dan/Annette to appoint Seth and Perry to new three year terms and to appoint the new appointment to a one year term. Motion was called and carried 6-0. 8. Announcements and General Information Jeff stated that the craft sale will be held on June 12, 2022. Volunteers are needed to help with parking and food. The fall craft sale is also set for September 11, 2022. 9. Adjournment to June 8, 2022 Dennis Kroll adjourned the meeting at 8:21 pm to June 8, 2022 at 7:30 pm. Plan Commission Secretary – Dan Kroll
