Proceedings – January 5, 2022 Town of Chase Plan Commission Meeting 1. Call to Order and Roll Call Plan Commission Chairman, Dennis Kroll called the public hearing to order at 7:30 pm in the Chase Town Hall located at 8481 County Road S, Pulaski, WI 54162. Notices were posted in the three town display boxes which are located at the Town Recycling Center, North Chase Citgo, and South Chase Saloon. Plan Commission Members Present: Chairman – Dennis Kroll, Jeff VanEnkevort, Perry Baugnet, Seth Ostrowski, Annette Peligrin and Secretary - Dan Kroll. Absent: Mark Meunier, 2. Recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag The Pledge of Allegiance was recited at the public hearing. 3. Approve the Agenda: a. Change of Sequence - None b. Remove Items – None Motion by Jeff/Perry to approve the agenda as printed. Motion was called and carried 6-0. 4. Approve Prior Meeting Minutes Motion by Seth/Annette to approve the prior meeting minutes from November 3, 2021. Motion was called and carried 6-0. 5. Discuss and Act on the Discontinuance of Mulberry Lane The plan commission discussed with Luke Nelson the discontinuance of Mulberry Lane. Nelson would like to see the road discontinued. Dan Kroll read a letter received from Nancy Micolichek, a bordering landowner to Mulberry Lane, requesting that the road not be discontinued. Dan Kroll also stated that the town’s attorney informed him that a road cannot be discontinued if there is an objection from a bordering landowner. No action was taken by the planning commission on the discontinuance of Mulberry Lane. 6. Announcements and General Information Dennis Kroll stated that the farm next door to the town hall has been having public events at their facility. The Oconto County Zoning office has issued then a Notice of Ordinance Violation. 7. Adjournment to February 9, 2021 Dennis Kroll adjourned the meeting at 7:55 pm to February 9, 2022 at 7:30 pm.
