1 MONDAY, JUNE 8, 2026 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: May Checks # 18488 – 18490 & Jun Checks # 18491 – 18500 Temporary June Checks 1001-1018 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm, by Chairman Scott Darnell, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Scott Darnell, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Cheryl Barnharst, Road Supervisor Matt Goeb and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Also present were 6 residents, and 2 non-residents (Zac Board & Tamaya Loewe). ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Schumer to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. CHAIRMAN REPORT: Mowing starting soon 2 to 3 a year. Single sealcoating is done 3.8 miles. LRIP on 19th Ave, bids will be open on July 11. The audit is done, everything was good sending formal report in August. Scott will miss July meeting. ZAC BOARD JUNEAU COUNTY UNDERSHERIFF INTRODUCTION: PUBLIC COMMENTS* Data center we have very little control. Adult kid doing burnouts and tearing up town roads, we need pictures and license #. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Hodal to approve the May 11, 2026 Regular Town Board Meeting, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Schumer to approve the Treasurer’s May 31, 2026 report as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Maintenance on equipment last radio installed, 3 new tubes in loader tires, DOT inspection on all 3 trucks, & undercoating for rust prevention. New street signs put up. Removing down trees from right away & storms. In the shop getting quote for exhaust fan and duct work need more quotes. Waiting on FEMA grant $31,000.00 for repairs from flooding. Patching, mowing, wedging the roads & shoulder work on 19th Ave. CONSTABLE REPORT: Seven incidents: mainly stuff on roads or ditches. Complaint of truck burnouts, & spotted a house fire. 2 APPROVAL OF LIQUOR LICENSES FOR 2026-2027: BODI HOSPITALITY INC, D/B/A WOODBINE INN LOUIS LEAMONS LLC, D/B/A WILDERNESS INN EASTWICK CORP, D/B/A THE REEL RV CAMPGROUND RESORT ROADHOUSE PUB & GRUB LLC, D/B/A ROADHOUSE BIG FRANKS INC, D/B/A BIG FRANKS Motion by Hodal to approve the 5 above named Liquor locations for 2025-2026 Liquor License, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF CLASS “B” BEER LICENSE FOR 2026-2027: CASTLE ROCK LAKE CAMPGROUND LLC, d/b/a CASTLE ROCK LAKE CAMPGROUND Motion by Hodal to approve the above named Beer location for 2026-2027 Beer License, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF OPERATOR LICENSE FOR 2026-2028: TRAVIS LEAMONS-AGENT-WILERNESS INN RYAN BODI-AGENT-WOODBINE INN DAVID VAN DYKE-AGENT-ROADHOUSE MICHELE BAUMEL-AGENT-THE REEL INN RV CAMPGROUND RESORT ROBERT GERLEMAN-AGENT-BIG FRANKS ALEXANDER WODLARSKI-AGENT-CASTLE ROCK LAKE CAMPGROUND BERNARD ARNOLD-WILDERNESS INN MARK GROOTHOUSEN-THE REEL RV CAMPGROUND RESORT HEIDI GEHLE-WOODBINE INN MOLLY SPARBY-WOODBINE INN Motion by Schumer to approve the 10 above named operators for a 2026-2028 Operator License, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-2. APPROVAL OF PICNIC LICENSE FOR QUEEN OF HOLY ROSARY SUMMERFEST ON AUGUST 22, 2026: Ginny Hodal recued herself from voting due to QHR conflict. Motion by Schumer to approve the Summerfest Picnic License for August 22, 2026 seconded by Darnell and carried aye-2. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE: Reviewing the update June 2026 Comprehensive plan. OPENING OF BIDS FOR 2026 LRIP 19TH AVE PROJECT FROM CTY RD G TO 28TH ST DOUBLE SEALCOATING & ACCEPTANCE OF THE BID AWARDED: 2 bids were received Scott Construction & Farhner. Scott Construction total bid $69,707.00. and Farhner total bid $71,601.00. Motion by Schumer to approve lowest bid of Scott Construction at $69,707.00 for LRIP 19th Ave project in 2026, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3.
