AGENDA FOR THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DARLINGTON TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, THE 6th DAY OF OCTOBER 2026 AT 7:00 PM; WHICH MEETING IS TO BE HELD IN THE COUNCIL ROOM AT THE DARLINGTON MUNICIPAL BUILDING, DARLINGTON, WISCONSIN 1. Call to order by presiding officer. 2. Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Roll call. 4. Motion that the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted. 5. Approve the minutes of the previous meeting, rectifying mistakes if any exist. (Copy enclosed) 6. Reports, comments, suggestions, and recommendations of citizens present. 7. Unfinished or deferred business from previous Council meetings. 8. New business. Including but not limited to the introduction of Ordinances and Resolutions. (a) Discussion and action concerning a bid received for a surge protector for the City of Darlington Municipal Building. (b) Discussion and possible action concerning the following recommendations from the Policies, Procedures, and Ordinance Committee: 1. Approval of resolution 2026- 18, a Resolution Amending Section 14.08 of the Municipal Code of the City of Darlington Relating to Recycling and Solid Waste. (c) Discussion and action concerning the renewal of a cash farm lease contract for cropland for land the City owns within the City’s TID. (d) Discussion and action concerning application for Temporary Class “B” Retailer’s License from Darlington Fire Department for 2:00 PM, October 10, 2026, through 2:00 AM, October 11, 2026, in the Firehouse located at 242 W. Cornelia Street. 9. Reports of Committees. (a) Library Board Meeting held on September 28, 2026. (b) Park & Recreation Commission meeting held on September 30, 2026. (c) Police Committee meeting held on October 5, 2026. (d) Policies, Procedures, and Ordinance Committee meeting held on October 5, 2026. 10. Adjourn the meeting.
