AGENDA FOR THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DARLINGTON TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, THE 18th DAY OF AUGUST 2026 AT 7:00 PM; WHICH MEETING IS TO BE HELD IN THE COUNCIL ROOM AT THE DARLINGTON MUNICIPAL BUILDING, DARLINGTON, WISCONSIN 1. Approve the minutes of the previous meeting, rectifying mistakes if any exist. (Copy enclosed) 6. Reports, comments, suggestions, and recommendations of citizens present.(3-minute limit) 7. Unfinished or deferred business from previous Council meetings. 8. New business. Including but not limited to the introduction of Ordinances and Resolutions. (a) Discussion and action concerning the following matters related to the 2026 Splash Pad/ Park Improvements Project: 1. G-Pro Excavating, LLC, Change Order #1 2. G-Pro Excavating, LLC, Final Pay Application – Pay Application #3 3. G-Pro Excavating, LLC, Substantial Completion (b) Discussion and action concerning the following recommendations from the Finance and Personnel Committee: 1. Approve the Clerk-Treasurer salary. 2. Approve the hiring of an applicant for the Assistant Water Operator/Public Works position. 3. Approve the hiring of an applicant for the Director of Public Works position. 4. Approve the changes to the Sick Leave Policy. (c) Presentation and approval of the proposed 2027 budget approval schedule. (d) Discussion and action concerning the proposed Lease Renewal Agreement between the City of Darlington and Eric Weber, Tubie Tech, for space leased on the second floor of the City of Darlington Municipal Building. (e) Presentation and approval of the July 31, 2026, financial statements for the City, Water Department, and Sewer Department. 9. Reports of Committees. 10. Adjourn the meeting.
