PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION MINUTES JUNE 24, 2026 The meeting was called to order by Joe Boll at 6:31p.m. Present at roll call : Rayna O’Brien, Scott Heinberg, Jill Ringen, Carly Winslow and Joe Boll. Absent: Doug Lindstrom, Ken Staver Also present: Kevin Andrews, Wade Berget, Cindy Corley, Steve Pickett, Dave Roelli, John Sonsalla and Kim Winslow Motion by Winslow, seconded by Ringen, the meeting notice and agenda were properly posted. Voice vote. Motion carried. Motion by Ringen, seconded by O’Brien, to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as presented. Voice vote. Motion carried. Public comment, suggestions, and recommendations of citizens present: None Reports / presentations from Commission Members or Staff: The Park & Recreation Financial Statements thru May 2026 were included in the agenda packets. . Wade Berget presented an update on Parks & Recreation activities. Under unfinished or deferred business from the previous commission meeting: None Under new business or matters to be taken up by the commission: Discussion only was held regarding the possible purchase of weights, racks, and benches for the Wellness Center. No action taken. Discussion and possible action were held regarding rental fee(s), rules and regulations for the new Lindell Pavillion. After a discussion, a motion was made by Heinberg, seconded by Winslow, to set the rules and regulations the same as the other shelter houses, and the rental fee of the Lindell Pavillion will be $100 rental fee + $50 deposit. Voice Vote. Motion carried. Next meeting date is set for July 22, 2026 at 6:30pm Motion by Ringen, seconded by Winslow, to adjourn the meeting at 7:12p.m. Voice vote. Motion carried.
