MEETING MINUTES FROM THE PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE
DISCONTINUANCE OF A PORTION OF WASHINGTON STREET AS
LOCATED ON THE ORIGINAL PLAT OF THE CITY OF DARLINGTON
JUNE 16, 2026
The Public Hearing was called to order by Mayor Dave Roelli at 6:30 PM. Present at this
Public Hearing were: Kerry Black, Joe Boll, Cindy Corley, Dave Roelli, John Sonsalla, Kevin
Andrews, Attorney Jacob Gardner, Bill Wamsley, Don Hastert, and Amy Johnson
It was reported that a Class 3 Notice of Public Hearing was published on May 14, May 21,
and May 28, 2026, in the Republican Journal, posted in three places, and posted on the City’s
website informing the public of the June 16, 2026, Public Hearing. No objections were filed in
opposition to the proposed discontinuance. No one from the public attended this Public Hearing to
object.
Mayor Roelli closed the Public Hearing at 6:41 PM. Motion carried.
