City of Berlin Tourism Commission Minutes April 9 th, 2024 • Meeting called to order at 5p • Roll Call: Present were Joel Bruessel, Janet Broesch, Andi Rogers, Mary Kubiak, Sue Trampf Michelle Omichinski. Tim Ludolph, Paul Weigel, and Mary Lou Neubauer were also present. • Motion to approve March minutes by Joel, Andi seconded. All in favor • Financial reports reviewed – $11,225.04 motion to approve Janet, second Sue. All if favor. o Review of end of year report submitted to State o $300 set aside per last meeting • General public comments - None • GLCVB discussion o Mary Lou Neubauer presented history of the GLCVB and future plans. o Discussed suggestions to take to the next board meeting. • Review of Spring Grant applications o 3rd of July Celebration, ABC Group 3000 Joel motions, Janet seconds, all in favor  Sue left the room o Historical Society – 2000 Joel Motions, Janet Seconds, all in favor o BFAM – 3000 – Janet motions, Sue seconded – all in favor  Andi left the room o Street Cruizers – 1500 Janet motions, Andi Seconds, all in favor • Review reports o Historical Society o BFAM • New business o Additions to application and report describing where and how they should be submitted • Advertising o Motion to approve 1400 for advertising in Explore North Wisconsin by Andi, Seconded by Janet, all in favor • Next meeting set for Sept 10 and Oct 8 , 2025 at 5 pm. • Motion to adjourn at 6:10 by Andi, second by Janet, All in favor.
