Stockton Town Board Meeting — Minutes

Minutes: Town of Stockton Board Meeting Monday, July 13th, 2026 @ 6:30 PM Town Hall, 7252 6th St, Custer, WI 54423 1. Call to Order by Chairman, Mike Bronk, at 6:30pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisor Jeanne Dodge, Supervisor Terry Johnson, and Clerk Jennifer Zurawski were present. Treasurer Maria Davis had an excused absence. No one from the public was present. 2. Certify compliance with Open Meeting Law – Clerk, Jennifer Zurawski, verified proper notification was given at three physical sites, on our town website, and in two papers for this meeting. 3. Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to approve Agenda for Monday, July 13th, 2026. Motion carried 3-0. 4. Motion (Dodge/Johnson) to approve Minutes for the Town Board Meeting on Monday, June 8th, 2026. Motion carried 3-0. 5. Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to approve Minutes for the Town Board Meeting on Monday, June 22nd, 2026. Motion carried 3-0. 6. Anyone wishing to Address the Board – Let the record show there was none. 7. Operator’s License/Retailer’s License – Motion (Dodge/Johnson) to approve Kathleen Herman as an Independent operator and Brian Cieslewicz for an operator’s license in the Town. Motion carried 3-0. 8. Discussion of Profit and Loss Summary for 2nd Quarter – Clerk Zurawski presented the numbers for 2nd quarter, and we are at 52% of our overall budget for half the year, so our projections look on track as we head into 3rd quarter. 9. June Treasurer’s Report – Postponed until next meeting 10. Public Works Update - Chairman Bronk stated he spoke to Chris Kizewski, Road Foreman for some updates. The Standing Rocks project will resume Monday, July 27th. The road crew have been straying poison Ivy and Parsnip on the sides of the roads and working on the Cul de Sac prep and the tractor is out for repairs on a line that collapsed. 11. Bills/Checks/Void Checks to Approve – Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to approve checks 45452 – 45509 and ACH transfers 201389 – 201395. Motion carried 3-0. 12. Clerk’s Report – Clerk Zurawski stated absentees were mailed out and we already have some returned. Clerk Zurawski reported she will be attending the election training at the County on July 27th. All Alcohol licenses have been delivered, and all DOR reports are submitted and up to date. Clerk Zurawski stated the website is updated. She also stated the FEMA grant and SALT order were submitted. 13. Correspondence – Let the record show there was none. 14. Items for Future meetings WTA Meeting at Town of Lanark Monday July 27th, 2026 No Town Board Meeting (Election Set up) Monday, August 10th, 2026 Next Town Board Meeting Monday, August 17th, 2026 15. Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to adjourn the meeting at 7:03pm. Motion carried 3-0.
