Stockton Town Board Meeting — Minutes

Minutes: Town of Stockton Board Meeting Monday, October 27th, 2025 @ 6:30pm Town Hall, 7252 6th St, Custer, WI 54423 1. Call to order by Chairman, Mike Bronk, at 6:30pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisor Jeanne Dodge, Supervisor Terry Johnson, Treasurer Sandra Walters, and Clerk Jennifer Zurawski were all present. 1 member of the public was present. 2. Certify compliance with Open Meeting Law – Clerk Zurawski verified proper notification was given at three physical sites, on our town website and in the paper regarding this meeting. 3. Motion (Dodge/Johnson) to approve Agenda for Monday, October 27th, 2025. Motion carried 3-0. 4. Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to approve minutes for the Town Board Public Hearing of Monday, October 6th, 2025. Motion carried 3-0. 5. Motion (Dodge/Johnson) to approve minutes for the Town Board Meeting of Monday, October 6th, 2025. Motion carried 3-0. 6. Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to approve minutes for the Special Town Board Meeting of Monday, October 6th, 2025. Motion carried 3-0. 7. Motion (Dodge/Johnson) to approve minutes for the Special Town Board Meeting of Monday, October 20th, 2025. Motion carried 3-0. 8. Anyone wishing to Address the Board – No Comment 9. Operator’s License/Retailer’s License - Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to approve newly requested operator license for Tori Cychosz. Motion carried 3-0. 10. September Treasurer’s Report – Treasurer Sandra Walters gave the September 2025 Treasurer’s Report. Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to approve the September Treasurer’s Report as submitted. Motion carried 3-0. 11. Public Works Update – Chairman Mike Bronk stated that over the course of the last week someone in the town has been knocking down stop signs. The road crew has replaced 3 stop signs. Chairman Bronk also reported that the roadcrew has been doing patching along Custer Road and Nick has been doing deep shoulder mowing. 12. Bills/Checks/Void Checks to Approve – Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to approve checks #44920 – 44970 and ACH Transfers #201326 201329 with no voids. Motion carried 3-0. 13. Clerk’s Report – Clerk Zurawski thanked the board for allowing her to attend the WTA Convention. She learned some new laws going into effect in 2026 with liquor licensing and fulfilled her election requirements by attending the WEC training. Clerk Zurawski stated that she worked with Jeff Kropp to get the P & L up to date, has been working on the budget for 2026 and is working on Tax bill prep to submit to the County. 14. Correspondence – No Comment 15. Budget Updates & Discussion – Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to approve and post the proposed budget for the Public Hearing to be held on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025, at 6pm. Motion carried 3-0. 16. Items for future meetings – Clerk Zurawski stated there will be no town board meeting on November 10th, and our next board meeting and public hearing will be November 17th. Our Budget Public Hearing will be on November 19th at 6:00pm. 17. Adjourn – Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to adjourn the meeting at 7:01pm. Motion carried 3-0.
