Stockton Town Board Meeting — Minutes

Minutes: Town of Stockton Board Meeting Monday, September 8th @ 6:30 PM Town Hall, 7252 6th St, Custer, WI 54423 1. Call to order by Chairman, Mike Bronk, at 6:30pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisor Jeanne Dodge, Supervisor Terry Johnson, Treasurer Sandra Walters, and Clerk Jennifer Zurawski were all present. 1 member of the public was present. 2. Certify compliance with Open Meeting Law - Clerk Zurawski verified proper notification was given at three physical sites, on our town website and in the paper regarding this meeting. 3. Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to approve Agenda for Monday, September 8th, 2025. Motion carried 3-0. 4. Motion (Dodge/Johnson) to approve minutes for the Town Board Meeting of Monday, August 25th, 2025. Motion carried 3-0. 5. Anyone wishing to Address the Board – No Comment 6. Discussion about scheduling Employee Reviews – Clerk Zurawski reminded the board they discussed in a previous meeting that they wanted to have Employee reviews in September early October. The town board agreed they would talk to the road crew employees and set a date in early October to have reviews. 7. August Treasurer’s Report – Treasurer Sandra Walters gave the August 2025 Treasurer’s Report. Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to approve the August Treasurer’s Report as submitted. Motion carried 3-0. 8. Operator’s License/Retailer’s License – Motion (Dodge/Johnson) to approve newly requested operator license for Ceiri Perrow. Motion carried 3-0. 9. Public Works Update – Chairman Bronk stated the road crew has completed the seal coating and they will begin their 2nd round of mowing the shoulders around the town. Chairman Bronk stated the road crew updated the boarders around the play area in the park and it looks nice. 10. Bills/Checks/Void Checks to Approve – Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to approve checks #44835 – 44859 and ACH Transfers #201313 – 201316 with no voids. Motion carried 3-0. 11. Clerk’s Report – Clerk Zurawski stated that she has been working on the Recycling grant and Sam.gov renewal. Clerk Zurawski stated we had a new plan commission request that she is working with Cindy Davis to get materials ready. Clerk Zurawski reminded the board she will be out of the office on September 15 th for the WTA Fall Workshop and reminded the town board about the upcoming WTA Meeting on September 22nd. 12.
